D & C With Hysteroscopy:
These treatments are used to diagnose or treat abnormal bleeding from the uterus, such as heavy or lengthy menstrual cycles or bleeding between periods. D&C (Dilation and Curettage) and Hysteroscopy are operations that are performed jointly. Remove any polyps or fibroid growths. Determine whether a lady has uterine cancer.
Your doctor performs a hysteroscopy by passing a lighted tube through your cervix and into your uterus. This allows the doctor to examine the interior of your uterus. Your doctor will use a curved instrument called a curette to gently remove tissue from your uterus during a dilation and curettage (D&C).
