Package Description
Cystoscopy & Dj Stent Insertion:
The cystoscope will be used to locate the hole where your ureter meets your bladder. Your healthcare professional will thread a ureteral stent via the cystoscope and into your ureter once they can see this opening. The cystoscope will be withdrawn after the stent is in place.
During the healing phase, it helps to avoid strictures or narrowing. The healing process will constrict the lumen [tube] if there is an injury or blockage caused by a stone. This is avoided by using the DJ stent. It has the ability to flush stones from the kidneys.
In the bladder, kidneys, groyne, urethra, and genitals, stents can cause discomfort and suffering. After physical exercise and passing urine, the discomfort or soreness may be more obvious.
