Formerly of AIIMS, Delhi, where he was Professor and Head of the Pediatrics Department. On a national and worldwide level, involved in the promotion of child neurology. Founder and President of the Indian Association of Child Neurology (HQ New Delhi); Former President of the Asian Oceanian Child Neurology Association (HQ Tokyo); Chairperson of the International Child Neurology Association's Educational Committee (HQ Brussels). Recipient of 13 medals and prizes, including the Sorell Katherine Research Award, Pfizer Gold Medal, and Asian Research Award, as well as accolades from three Hon'ble Presidents of India for exceptional academic achievement. Zee TV and LIC recently awarded her the Swasth Bharat Samman for her services to Pediatrics. A member of a number of prestigious scientific academies throughout the world.
