Dr Oliver Guttmann

Dr. Oliver Guttmann earned a first-class BA (Hons) in Neuroscience and a merit in Medicine after attending Cambridge University and University College London. Before completing his cardiology residency at the Heart Hospital, London Chest Hospital, and Barts Heart Centre, he joined the Royal College of Physicians. At University College London, he earned his MD (Res) for work on atrial fibrillation and stroke in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. At St. Bartholomew's Hospital, Dr. Guttmann is currently a Consultant Cardiologist for Coronary Intervention and Inflammatory and Inherited Heart Muscle Disease. He teaches at University College London as an Honorary Associate Professor. His specialties include myocarditis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, however he treats all patients with suspected or known cardiomyopathies. In addition to providing standard adult cardiology consultations, Dr. Guttmann is particularly interested in coronary treatments and chest discomfort.
