Dr. Meet Kumar

Dr. Meet Kumar has over 14 years of experience in both hematology and BMT. He attended well-known Indian colleges for his education. More than 700 bone marrow transplants—including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical—have been performed successfully by him. He obtained his DM in Clinical Hematology from NRS Medical College in Kolkata, and his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat. He completed his bone marrow transplant fellowship at Tata Medical Centre in Kolkata and his specialized training in BMT and CART cell therapy at Kings College in London.

Additionally, he has held positions in esteemed establishments such as Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon, SGPGI in Lucknow, BL Kapoor Hospital in Delhi, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. In Vadodara, Gujarat, he is credited for founding the first bone marrow transplant center ever established by a state government.

Numerous honors have been bestowed upon him, such as the "Hisar Gaurav" and the "Global Award" for developing hematologist. The major national body on hematology in India, the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion, has him as an executive member. In addition, he is a professional member of the Delhi Society of Haematology, Bengal Society of Haematology, and American Society of Haematology. He has published over 20 research studies in reputable national and international journals.
