Dr Lim Kheng Ann

Consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Lim Kheng Ann. He received his degree from the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Dentistry in the 1980s. After completing his fundamental OMS training at the Singapore General Hospital and the former Government Dental Clinic, he earned his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. At the National Dental Centre's Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department, he continued his advanced surgical training in OMS. At Singapore General Hospital, Changi Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, as well as Alexandra Hospital, he received OMS surgical training. He spent nine months in Sweden working in three institutions, including the Central Hospital in Halmstad, the famed Salgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, and the Central Hospital in Vasteras, thanks to a government scholarship he received to study ""advanced surgical implantology."" During his time in Sweden, he researched the specifics of surgical methods for both cranio-facial and dental implants. From 1995 until 2003, he served as the program's clinical tutor for the Master of Dental Surgery (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery). He worked as a part-time lecturer for the National University of Singapore's Master of Dental Surgery (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program)/""MDS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery)"" programme from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, he served as a guest lecturer at Nanyang Technological University's Master of Science (Biomedical Engineering)/""MSC (BME)"" programme.
