Currently, A/Prof Yeo is in charge of the neurosurgery department at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He also serves as the Singapore Gamma Knife Center's medical director. He received his MBBS in 1985 after completing his undergraduate medical training at the National University of Singapore. In 1994, having finished his postgraduate neurosurgery studies in Melbourne, Australia, after completing his National Service in the army from 1986 to 1988, he received his exit neurosurgical qualifications (FRACS).
