At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, Christopher E. Walsh, MD, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and the Program Director for Hemophilia in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. He earned his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Wake Forest School of Medicine. At the North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, he finished an internship and an internal medicine residency, and at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, he completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in haematology. Internal medicine and haematology are both board certified by Dr. Walsh. The HTCs in New England that are sponsored by ATHN are regionally directed by Dr. Walsh. Hemophilia of New York, the Hemophilia Federation of America, the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN), and NHF MASAC are among the organisations on whose boards he serves. He specialises on fundamental research on gene therapy for blood disorders. He was a pioneer in the study of the Adeno-associated virus and its initial application as a vector for gene therapy. Also, he is working hard to create gene therapies for conditions like von Willebrand disease and haemophilia A and B.

At the University of Western Ontario, where he also finished his internal medicine residency, Dr. Christopher Patriquin earned his medical degree. He pursued his haematology fellowship at McMaster University, where he also continued his studies as a Clinical Scholar in complement-mediated illness. His M.Sc. in Health Research Methods concentrated on efficient trial and observational approaches in uncommon diseases. His clinical interests include the thrombotic microangiopathies (TMA) and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). Dr. Patriquin earned honorary clinical research fellowships in TMA (University College London) and PNH in the United Kingdom in 2015. Oncologist and haematologist Dr. Sam Berger is considered to be among the best in North York, Ontario. He investigates and makes diagnoses for illnesses and conditions affecting the immune system, bone marrow, and blood as a committed oncologist and haematologist. In order to identify the appropriate course of treatment, he does this by speaking with patients. Also, he advises and prescribes testing to establish the severity of the ailment, aiding in the diagnosis.

Canadian physician, scholar, and cancer researcher Michael Allen Baker, CM OOnt. He is a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto, the Rose Family Chair in Medicine, and the former Physician-in-Chief of the University Health Network. His work has advanced knowledge of other cancers as well as human leukaemia. Baker, who was born in Toronto, Ontario, went to Oakwood Collegiate Institute before earning his M.D. in 1966 from the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a focus in Hematology and Internal Medicine. He graduated from the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1967. He started working as a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto in 1982. He was appointed Physician-in-Chief of Toronto General Hospital in 1992. He was on the board of the Canadian Cancer Society for five years while serving three years as president of the National Cancer Institute of Canada. [2] He was chosen in 2008 to lead the government's patient safety agenda as the Executive Lead - Patient Safety for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He was chosen as the Institute of Evaluative Sciences' Board Chair in 2011. (ICES).
