Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC)'s Clinical Director of Urology for the South Sector is Mr. Khaver Qureshi. He has a broad practice treating both men and women with a variety of urological disorders. He is a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon with a special interest in urological malignancy. In 1992, Mr. Qureshi earned his medical degree from Saint Bartholomew's Medical College in London. Based in London and Birmingham, he received his fundamental surgical training. His doctorate in medicine (MD), which focused on bladder cancer and artificial neural networks, was granted by Newcastle University in 2002 after he was successful in receiving a research funding from the Cancer Research Campaign. Mr. Qureshi was named the West of Scotland Managed Clinical Network's Lead Clinician for Urological Cancer in 2007. He was given the position of Clinical Director for Urology in Glasgow in 2011 and was in charge of rebuilding the relationship between the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH). He is very interested in service development, and in 2015, the QEUH under his direction developed robotic urology surgery. He currently serves as the senior member of the renal cancer team at GGC and has a general urology practice in addition to doing upper tract surgeries using open, endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.

Professor Hashim Ahmed is a well-known specialist in prostate cancer diagnosis, imaging, biopsy, and minimally invasive treatments including cryotherapy or whole-gland HIFU for primary or radiorecurrent disease. He has carried out thousands of HIFU treatments as well as thousands of transperineal targeted and mapping biopsies. In the UK and other parts of the world, he has trained dozens of surgeons in similar procedures. He has delivered numerous invited lectures in this field, and he is now working on and publishing many of the important articles that are changing the way that prostate cancer is diagnosed and treated.

Since 1995, Mr. Bhanot has maintained a successful urology practice in East London and Essex. In his practice, Mr. Bhanot takes great pride in using a patient-centered approach. Patients and family members are strongly encouraged to take part in the management decision-making process. He has a wealth of experience in laparoscopic, endoscopic, and general surgery. He frequently updated his knowledge and abilities and has invented various surgical procedures. For the Societe Internationale Urologie (SIU), he served as a board director. He teaches urology as an honorary professor. At King George and Queens Hospitals, Mr. Bhanot works as a consultant urological surgeon for Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (BHRUHT). He is a key participant in the BHRUHT Cancer MDT and Pelvic Floor MDT.

Prof. Robert Huddart is an expert in prostate, bladder, and testicular cancer. His areas of interest in research include the care of all testicular cancers with an emphasis on improving outcomes in high-risk diseases and minimizing toxicity in low-risk diseases, as well as the genetics of testicular cancer and its late effects. The management of bladder cancer, with a focus on the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and its role in the selection of patients for conservative treatment, improving conservative treatment for invasive bladder cancer through the use of concomitant therapies, and the technical advancement of radiotherapy and imaging are among other areas of interest.

In the University of Toronto's Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, Dr. Farcas holds the positions of Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Investigator. She is a surgeon who subspecializes in endourology, robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and renal transplantation at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Farcas earned her MD and urology residency training at the University of Toronto after earning her master's degree in engineering from McGill University. After that, she finished a two-year clinical residency with the Endourological Society at St. Michael's Hospital. Her areas of interest in research include surgical innovation, the creation of surgical devices, and surgical simulation.

Research on robotics and prostate cancer is a focus for Dr. Anidjar. He was brought in from France in 2000 to assist launch the laparoscopic programme at McGill. He participated in a team that performed the first-ever laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in Quebec that year at the Jewish General. Via small keyholes and with the aid of a tiny camera, the surgeon will remove a malignant prostate. At the Jewish General, Dr. Anidjar and his coworkers invented the laparoscopic nephrectomy procedure for the removal of malignant kidneys. Laparoscopic surgery offers patients a host of advantages, including a much reduced chance of bleeding, less discomfort, and quicker recovery times. He is currently in charge of the Urology Robotics Program. Only Dr. Anidjar performs robotic prostatectomy in Quebec, advancing laparoscopy with the hospital's recently acquired da Vinci S surgical robot.

At St. George's Hospital in London and Croydon University Hospital (CUH), Mr. Mark Lynch practices urology full-time. He presently holds the positions of Consultant at the Endourology Unit at St. George's Hospital London, Clinical Lead for Urology at CUH, and Chair of the Cancer MDT. Prior to studying medicine at St. George's Hospital, Mr. Lynch studied biochemistry at Imperial College London and earned the title of Associate of the Royal College of Science. His postgraduate training in surgery and urology was completed in hospitals in the London Deanery, including Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, King's College Hospital, and St. George's Hospital. In addition to minimally invasive surgery, bipolar therapy, and laser procedures for the treatment of prostate problems, Mr. Lynch has honed his abilities in complicated stone surgery.
